Fall Night Hike

Celebrate the arrival of autumn with an evening hike through the preserve. We’ll explore how shorter days and cooler temperatures influence the behavior of local wildlife, learn about nocturnal animals that become active after sunset, and experience the forest through our senses as night falls.
This leisurely guided hike is perfect for anyone curious about the natural world and looking to enjoy a peaceful evening outdoors. Please dress in layers, wear sturdy footwear, and bring a flashlight or headlamp with a red-light setting if you have one. This program is best suited for adults and older children comfortable walking on uneven trails after dark.
Weather Policy: Rain or shine. Event will be cancelled in inclement weather with no rain date.
This event is part of Indiana Land Trust Days. RSVP on the organizer’s website so that you don’t miss a thing – updates, reminders, or the occasional weather related cancellation or delay.
