SUMMARY:Seed Collection at Beanblossom Bottoms Nature Preserve
DESCRIPTION:Support Sycamore Land Trust’s Native Plant Nursery by collecting native seeds from wetland wildflowers\, sedges\, shrubs\, and rushes at Beanblossom Bottoms Nature Preserve. These locally adapted seeds will support future habitat restoration projects across our preserves\, helping create diverse plant communities that provide food and shelter for birds\, pollinators\, amphibians\, and other wildlife. Participants will venture beyond the boardwalk and into shallow water for portions of the collection. No experience is necessary. All tools\, personal protective equipment\, species identification guidance\, and training will be provided. \nThis event is part of Indiana Land Trust Days.
