Phenology is the study of seasonal patterns in nature\, observing and tracking events like when plants bloom\, leaves appear\, or fruit ripens\, and how these events change over time. \nThese guided hikes are designed to help participants practice native plant identification\, learn to use field guides\, and keep track of their observations. You are welcome to bring your own guides\, and some will be available to borrow through the Clegg Library. Please dress in layers\, wear sturdy footwear\, and bring a flashlight or headlamp with a red-light setting if you have one. This program is best suited for adults and older children comfortable walking on uneven trails after dark. \n  \nWeather Policy: Rain or shine.
