Tales and Trails

The season is changing, and so are the trees! Come to Meadowbrook for a cozy story time and nature adventure as we read If You Find a Leaf by Aimee Jicuro. After the story, we’ll discover how different types of trees prepare for winter and create our own leaf artwork inspired by the changing season.

Please come prepared to be outdoors for the entire program. A jacket, boots, and a water bottle are recommended.

Tales & Trails invites children and their caregivers to gather for a short story that sparks curiosity, followed by an exploration of one of our beautiful conservation destinations. Expect to hear a tale and hike a trail while discovering the natural wonders around you together. 

This is a 1.5-hour program designed for children ages 3-5. Younger siblings are welcome to join. 

Weather Policy: Rain or shine. Event will be cancelled in inclement weather with no rain date.
