Little Hikers: Big Canyons

Calling all Little Hikers! Get ready to adventure at Canyon Forest Nature Preserve where the walls are made of ancient sandstone and the forest is full of surprises! During this 1.5 mile hike, we’ll become nature detectives and search for mushrooms, mosses, and other tiny clues of life tucked into the shady canyon walls. This big adventure will explore the rocks, plants, and animals that work together to make this place special.

This event is part of the Indiana Land Trust Days, a statewide celebration of conservation featuring special events hosted by land trusts across Indiana, highlighting the importance of protecting and caring for the places that make our state unique.
